My final project is designing a shelter for my oown character. I planned to make a shelter that can be camouflage and fuse with the nature. So I make a shelter on the fallen tree and that tree can be function as the tunnel too. Interior Presentation Board Me on presentation day

Okay, so this time I will show you some drawing from my first sketchbook. First sketch for my first project. How my funktional machine works. First trying to draw materials using markers. Orthographic projection means of representing three-dimensional objects in two dimensions. In this time, we were taught how to do ortographic projection.  We also study how to draw section and elevation properly using T-square, square set and scale ruler.  It is quite hard for the first time but I'm sure practice and patience will do!  

This time, my Design Communication class tutor me how to draw line properly using T-square, set square, scale ruler and pen. It was fun and also difficult because this is the first time I am using T-square and set square. But the lecturers taught us step by step and patiently. This part will contain the explanation of the toilet. Where the presentation board will explain the parts from the toilet and how the toilet get and throw the drained water. This also elaborate the real size and what kind of references we consider in making this toilet. There are six points that help us in designing which is : Observe Collect Analyse Compare Notice Patterns All of this points were researched in Tioman a while ago. We observe the surroundings, the location, the urban area and also the materials that can be used. We do collect some findings such as dried leaves, mango that fell from the tree, rocks, etc. Analysis was made from how should we overcome the threats such as animals, weather, we also analyse how to fulfil the toilet regulations relating with the site. I know sometimes it is so burdensome when you are going for holiday but the toilet there is so uncomfortable. Especially when you were camping or going to the beach. The toilet sometimes too narrow or unfacilititated well. This project is related from that, so we were grouped into groups and we gonna design the toilet. According some observation and research in Tioman that we gathered when we were on the trip, we planned to make the toilet where we could enjoy the sea view. We determined our toilet location is up the hill between some rocks and high tree. And we gonna make toilet where  we could see the view from inside but no one gonna see us taking a bath from outside! The majority of materials for toilet is bamboo. For the glass, we gonna make tinted reflective glass. The plan is circular which not ordinary for toilet plan.     There are gonna be steps to reach the toilet in order to prevent lizard to come in. This activity is so fun to do~! So this time, we will be going outside of class which is Sunway Pyramid to draw. We were told to have our meals and draw, but this time, the thing we suppose to draw is the interior of the place. I and my friends decided to eat in Ten Years. The design of this place is so cute and full of our childhood memories. There are tin cans that full of our childhood candies and snacks. And it has colorful furniture inside such as the chair is in different colours. On Progress! Before colouring the tin cases Full picture I draw only some attracted parts. In this time, watercolour will be part of our activities! The theme is our own breakfast. So we will draw our breakfast and colour it with watercolour. Drawing on process My Black Sandwich I buy a black sandwich which attract me, because  it is quite rare for bread to be in black colour right? This is part of Design Communication Assignment 1A, which is we should think from other perspective and 3D. First we learn how to draw boxes and later we outline it so it gives some effects through it. This class was fun because we drew without having pencil sketches first. So we drew directly with pen. Parallel After practicing to draw boxes, we were told to give more perspective on it. So we drew boxes from different angle. Adding Perspective to Box The next lesson we learn is, Putting the Box into Content . In this one, we should draw boxes, give it perspective and put the content. It can be inside of the room, inside of the shelf, etc. To put effect of inside, we can use dotted line or separate line on it. Putting the Box into Context

My first Design Communication class was fun. We studied how to do lettering and drawing arrows. In this first class, we were told to write anything with any fonts and keep making a creative font. Because we need to write title properly in the future, so we should be able to write as clear and attractive way. The next lesson that I learn is how to draw arrows properly. In the first I underestimate this one and thought this is gonna be easy. But I'm totally wrong because drawing proper arrows have their own regulations! A proper arrow should not have a big head in order to point something clearly. And we can even draw arrow with wavy patterns or spiral one. In every making something, we should consider the environment that will be placed. My 02B project is related to project 02A which is Funktional Machine. Because my machine is 'Underground' , so it should be placed underground. I make this as an underground machine so that it will not wasting the space and can be placed in the middle of city. Full picture Some buildings in city the sailing boat So the machine is placed underground so people still can plant even though they live in the middle of city. I make it aside of the sea, so we can adjust how deep the ground is. Another part of this project is making the presentation board on A2 size. So it contains the description of the machine and how it works. It also highlight the main part of the machine and what do the machine works.
