My first task in semester 2 !
So this time, we were told to explore on material that we have chose for the project. As I choose glass as my main material, the findings and explorations all will be related on that.
First we were told to choose the 'Local' Coffee and 'Local' Dessert.
I choose Kopi Sidikalang and Talam Jagung which both of the are my country's local food and drink.

This week, I continued to update my furniture. I have researched for the materials and made the narrative topics to be clear. Following below is the compiled data and materials I have chosen to suit the purpose. 1. Stainless Steel It is not conducting heat so it will not hurt customer who sit there . It is also easy and can be formed into certain shape to suit the machine. 2. Brass Brass is cheaper than copper and it is corrusion resistant, it also a good finishing material and polishing material. 3. Acrylic It is for safety for people who sit below and it is clear to give the customer certain look of fluidity of hot chocolate. I do not choose glass because it is fragile and can danger the user. Acrylic is also a light-weight material which will not burden much on the supports. 4. Hardwood I want to choose material that sustainable and heat resistant. Even though wood is not really heat resistant, but at least with hardwood, the combustile level is low. It will also give pleasant look ...

Since I'm changing my whole idea from chocolate world tour becoming chocomed, I kind of lacking in research. Chocomed is a project to introduce chocolate as medicine. Its purpose is to change people's perspective on chocolate. Chocolate often to be seen as negative food current days, but in fact, chocolate is a nutritional food with many values for body. Through this project, people are given chance to learn and educate them about chocolate and how they can process it for healthier option. This is my final board for Chocomed.

Along the second semester, I've learned a lot while doing my projects which designing a cafe through few process. From designing the wall display that we designed based on the material we choose until the container cafe which contains the ideas. During the process, I got a lot of lessons from my lecturers, Miss Diana, Miss Hanim and Sir Romzi. I also got a chance to visit the Sekeping Serendah where we will place our designed cafe there. The site visit is beneficial for us since we learnt how to measure the area of staying places. We were able to see unique feature from this Sekeping Serendah Retreat Place, like Glass Box that are placed above the tree gives special view of the forest. From the material of the building and the pathway has unique features that help us in designing our cafe. I also got helped from the lecturers through the tutorial sessions.
